| Ended up with a third place in this highscoring event. The cut for the final(top 30) was as high as 1424 for 6 games, and i qualify as second last with 1426.
Started really good in the final with 1472, and was third at that point. It continuing with another four games to decide wich 4 players will make the tv-finals. Had a good start with 258, 236, but 167 in the third was a disaster and suddenly my spot in the finals was at stake. Manage to put my self together, and ended up in fourth an last place for the final.
Had to play against Tore Torgersen in my semi, and started with three strikes, but after that a had problem with the left lane, and as Tore had a sixbagger in the middle of the game i need to fight back. Had a double in frame 7-8, but as a left the sevenpin in the ninth the tournament was over for me. 247-226 was the score.
A third place is pretty ok anyhow, and as i also won to smaller tournaments in the Gothenburg-area, this sunday turned up pretty good. Now it will be practice a couple of days before next tournament in Helsinki. |
