| (2008-03-04) The format in this tournament is a little different, as said before you half of the qualifing score is added to your score, and the final starts with 4 games. Top 24 goes thryu and play another four games, and after that top 3 play the stepladder.
It started good in both 4-games block (257&248), but after that i had some problem. Ended up with scores around 860 in both blocks, and finished 9th about 60 pins short from the stepladder. Feels like it could gone better but in such short format, you maybe dont wont to take any risky decision. If thats right or wrong is hard to tell, but when you are out there on the lanes, you maybe dont always make the right decisions.
A 9th place is the best so far in this years EBT-tour, but the field was maybe not the best. In ten days time its time for the next stop on the tour, this time in France, and that field is probably the best ever on the tour, with a lot of PBA-players and other good international players from all around the world. To make top 10 in that tournament i need to play much better then i did in this one.
(2008-02-29)The squad yesterday started pretty good, but after a couple of bad ballchoices in the 5th game the squad was history.
Play again at 4 pm today, and now when i know how the lanes are played, i probably wont make the same mistake again.

Is always good to play a squad and after that make the right analysis and come back on the lanes with the right ideas. There where no doubts today that it will be a high score. Had 180 in the third games, but beside that every game was 220 or higher. Ended up with 1393 and thats good enough for third place right now, so we in the yop has a little advantage in the final on sunday, as half of the qualifing score will be added to your pinfall on sunday. |
