(2008-08-26)
The 3 games in the trios on short yesterday was the best we ever played so far in this championship, but was anyhow not enough to make the final. Had to say that we had bad breaks almost the hole  first 2 games, and with some luck there we for sure had make the final.
Now we ended up in ninth position, and the other swedish trios in 8th. Noteable is that all the players that scored high yesterday (including myself) used plastic or urethan, so the question to the WTBA must be if this is the future of our game bowling....?
The team-event this morning which was on the long and not so easy pattern. We played pretty ok but we just couldnt get any strikes. Our first double was in the 7th(!) frame, and at that point we were about 100 under. We had some strikes in the end to shot 970. The second game started better, but still we couldnt get any lucky breaks (well except me who had 2 brooklyns in a row). We got 1000 for the game, and it continuing the same in the last game, and our total for the day was 2964, and a 7th place in the squad.
THe teamevent continues tomorrow with 3 games on the short pattern, and then we will throw strikes like never before!

(2008-08-24)The problems are still there
Also today it was an early morning, but im getting used to that now:-)
One thing is for sure, the lanes are much drier in the morning and that doesnt make it easier. Easy or not, but im not pleased with my performance today(597), but i just have to do everything a little better and hopefully the strikes will come then.
It was only 1(!) team over par this morning(+46), and if the scores will be that low the next squads, we have a great chance to get a good finish in the trios event, after we shot 1733 today.

(2008-08-22)Bad start
After 880 on my first 4 games, and i could have a lot more with just some lucky breaks, so ofcourse i had hopes for a better score then i ended up with. Last 2 games was terrible and a finish my squad just 8 over.
The lanes changed very much in the end, and if you not stay awaked you usally end up with a lot of open frames.
This was not the start i wanted in this championship, but i will just forget about this day and look forward.

(2008-08-19)The trip here was ok, and now after a couple of days the jetlag is gone. We have practic four times so far, and the lanes feels much easier compare to what we practice on back home. Unfortunally we hav not practice on the offical patterns since one of the Kegel Ion machines are stucked in customs(!).
Tomorrow we will at least practice on the long pattern with the right machine and conditioner, while the short pattern will be done by the machine thats in the house, and still with another conditioner. Hopefully it will not be so big different, but we know from the past that different conditioners can make the lane be played  completely different.

(2008-08-15)Now is my 11 bowlingballs and all other things that i will bring on the trip to Bangkok tomorrow packed. We have a directflight from Stockholm, so we reduece the risk of lost baggage due to connecting flights.
Hopefully we will visit the centre already on sunday, to get a first look and try the lanes for the first time.
